From the highlands of Veracruz in eastern Mexico comes our Mexican harvest; from one of the oldest and most important coffee-growing regions, where coffee has been intertwined with the land and its farmers for over two centuries, becoming a part of the region’s history and agricultural culture.
Here, our harvest does not come from a single farm, but from a collective of Veracruz farmers whose production is united within an agricultural community where coffee cultivation has spanned generations, and where small, family-owned farms remain an essential part of its identity to this day.
Local farmers cultivate a number of varieties long associated with Mexican coffee, and our harvest blends Bourbon, Caturra, Typica, and Catimor; varieties that have converged in an environment known for its agricultural diversity, mineral-rich soil, and a climate that has made Veracruz a benchmark region for coffee in Mexico.
Coffee in Veracruz has a history that goes beyond being just an agricultural crop; it was one of the first places where coffee cultivation took root, and from there, an industry expanded that is deeply connected to the lives of the farmers and surrounding communities, making names like Coatepec and Veracruz central to the history of Mexican coffee.
From this legacy comes our coffee; a Mexican coffee with a fruity character and distinct sweetness, combining notes of strawberry, cherry, and pistachio.
